Registration and Kindergarten Screening
Parents and students who wish to tour The Woods Private School are encouraged to visit our campus. We welcome all visitors, and a staff member is always available to answer any questions you may have regarding our school. Please call the office at 281-370-8576 or e-mail us at thewoodsschool@sbcglobal.net to schedule a tour. Guests are welcome on a drop-in basis.
To enroll your child at The Woods Private School, we require a registration form and current application fee. Registration for the fall semester is open to the public beginning the first week of February (please refer to calendar). Registration is open to children of all races, nationalities, and economic backgrounds. A child is considered enrolled in the program once the completed registration form and application fee have been accepted and availability is confirmed by the Director.
Kindergarten Screening
Students entering our kindergarten program are required to undergo a kindergarten readiness screening to determine overall maturity and school readiness. The screening, administered by a staff specialist, will be conducted on an appointment basis scheduled at your convenience. The fee for the screening is $40.00. Once the screening has been administered, your child will be admitted to one of our kindergarten programs once a consensus is reached by the specialist, director, and parents.
